Its roughly 225m2 house including garage. Initially we were told to allow approx $1200 per m2 (a year ago) which is finished with paint, floorcover, paving, fencing window treatments clothesline letterbox etc. The costing is not quite complete yet but its up to $1500 m2 not including floor coverings, benches, window treatments, fencing etc. I am just wondering what sort of build costs others have experienced in Perth? We are planning to shop the build but just a bit stunned by the initial figures.... I run 500 separate cost centres and if I am out by an average of $100 per centre, that is $50000 which translates to a fair bit of money per m2.
