Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 17, 2013 8:30 pm Hi Everyone Just wondering if anyone has the benchmark awning windows by Jason Windows. We have just had ours installed in the silver colour and on all the frames, they have a square black plastic insert thing. Where the aluminium has been cut for this bit of black plastic to go in is razor sharp and protrudes past the black bit so it is only going to be a matter of time before it cuts someone. I don't even know why the black bits are on them. They serve no purpose and look terrible but my main concern is the sharpness of the aluminium where it joins. The frames are also dented on the sides where these black bits are - every frame. It is really odd! Can anyone offer their experience? Do you have these and do yours look like this? Thanks heaps. Re: Jason Windows "Benchmark" awning windows 2Oct 17, 2013 8:46 pm Hey Kirsten, Any chance of posting some pictures about what you are referring to? I can't quite visualise what you mean - is it possible that it is just what is in place during the build or something? Does it relate to where the fly-wires might go?
