I'm looking for some rough guidance on service connection costs (the whole crop: electricity, water, sewer, gas, phone, cable) when dealing with a longer connection than usual (~60m driveway). I'm assuming one way to minimize costs is to have them all run at the same time in a common trench - is this something a builder can do or do the utilities need to be present for drawing their respective connections?
Also AFAIK gas piping can be expensive; given the distance, I wonder if I would be better off with using bottled gas?
Or should I just talk to all individual providers separately? Would they even give connection quotes?
