I park at Aircraft, but unless you are there by about 7.30am you won't get a park on the bitumen, you'll be parking in the dirt/mud closer to where the car wreckers are. It's been terrible there these last 3 weeks with all the rain. Aircraft is the First full Zone 2 station though... so be aware of that. Laverton is the last of the stations that you can get on that is a Zone 1 ticket. Can i ask what the duration of the trip is (by train) from Aircraft/Laverton to the CBD? Thanks Re: People who have built in Point Cook 23Sep 08, 2008 4:07 pm Depends if you get the limited express or not.
About 30 mins or so. I go to Parliament. Re: People who have built in Point Cook 25Sep 10, 2008 3:54 pm I also drive some days. In peak traffic in the morning in take take an hour or more... whenever I do go, I leave before 7am or the traffic is just terrible.
The only time it's okay is during school holidays. If you leave about 6.30am, you would probably only take 40mins approx. If you leave after 7am, then you'll take at least 50% longer. Re: People who have built in Point Cook 26Sep 10, 2008 7:34 pm On our part, we could still get a parking space at around 8:30am.
I normally drop off my DH to school and arrives at the parking lot at around 8:40am. Monday to Wednesday are the worst days... you have to be earlier than normal. So there were days that we park to the other side of the Laverton station (yes, the muddy area). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Built the Nevada 42 Next project - landscaping! He said there are lots of parking spaces there along the side streets. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Built the Nevada 42 Next project - landscaping!
