The bricks we chose were 'Albany Cream' from Austral Bricks. They turned out pretty well i think.

Your house is looking really good. We have just completed pre start with HGWA and now in waiting for construction. We choose the Monte Carlo and building in vasse Newtown. We have found this site really helpful and exciting watching everyone's progress. Cheers Cory Hi Cory, Thanks, it is good to see the house being built!! We looked at the Monte Carlo when we were choosing the plan we chose. It is good to have a look thorough all the posts to pick up ideas during construction. I would be interested to know your timelines from pre sart to slab down. This was extensivley long for us, so long that we had a few meetings with HGWA about it. THey said that they have cut the timeframe from pre start to slab by 2 months! Be very interesting to see wheter this is true. Our place is in Abbey Waters so not that far away from you. Re: Cambridge, Home Group WA 32Feb 03, 2014 11:15 am We have something that is finally starting to look like a house!! The roof carpenters worked so quickly compared to other trades thus far completing the roof, eaves and fascia in a couple of days. With the roof plumbers starting as soon as they could and the colourbond is 75% finished, it looks like things are starting to move very quickly. All the electrical wiring was completed on Friday, so we walked through to see practically how the layout is going to work. Windows should be going in today or tommorrow and drywall should be delivered by the end of the week ready to starteither on Friday or Monday next week. We had the roof plumbers there doing finishing touches, plumbers there doing the chasing etc and the windows were being installed!! Here are some photos of the colourbond, the colour we went was Shale Grey. Plumbers finished in the same day so no hold ups gettign the gyprock on the walls. So today we had teh plasteres there starting the inside and also the outside render started. Things are really moving along and hopefully the date of April 30th handover is still looking likely. One suprise we found was a water pipe exposed in the garage, i hope it doesnt stay as it is because it is pretty ugly even though it is in the garage!! Re: Cambridge, Home Group WA 37Feb 17, 2014 1:33 pm More progress, We have had the gyrockers finish the inside walls and the ceiling paster completed over the weekend... yes they worked on Saturday and Sunday!!! The good but bad thing is that we will be locked out sooner then later so we wont be able to keep as close an eye on things that are hapening!!
