Re: 1 colour…..and wow look how it good it looks! 25May 08, 2008 8:56 pm Their not white, that s for sure!
They appear to be muted tones of white with a deep base in them. The design of the first one does nothing for me, and I find the white a bit stark - maybe if they'd done the garage in a different colour. Agree the second one with the eaves has added oompf but I also like the first one. Re: 1 colour…..and wow look how it good it looks! 28May 08, 2008 9:03 pm I remember years ago, I couldn’t GET people to do colour!
So it’s interesting to see that some would like to see them with a bolder colour! In case you've forgotten we are doing Windspray on the roof and then similar colours on the walls and timber doors - only thing that is different is that our place will have white windows. After 4 years - we're in! Re: 1 colour…..and wow look how it good it looks! 32May 09, 2008 11:31 am Wow that house look so .... eavy!!!
It is nice....but still not me....maybe its the colour scheme?? Sort of…….not forgetting your stonework and feature colour. So already the front of your home is different. I posted these photos to represent one colour on the facades. You have a few. Don’t worry stonecutter…I can’t wait to see your home finished, it will look pretty spectacular! It’s very much the style of home that people are building in my area….remembering I live near the water! In case you've forgotten we are doing Windspray on the roof and then similar colours on the walls and timber doors - only thing that is different is that our place will have white windows. we've done something similar except a Dune roof and Dune render and silver aluminium windows. The render has come out a light grey. At first it was a bit of a shock but now we love it. It all blends together and looks very calming. We added a few extra colours to the facade, but the main render looks like the pics in this thread. If you have done Windspray I think you will find it will look very similar to the pics IMO. Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 3810 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 9119 The estate Covenants (design requirements) must be included in the land contract.
