Very nice area. Spent quite a bit of time around Yallingup, Margaret River and Dunsborough. We use to go down mid week when we had days off as student nurses. Not so developed then. Loved the place. Well nothing has happened building wise in the last week. SS states the roof carpenter held up on another job and he is suppose to be on site this Monday along with the guys who were to fix up minor issues last Monday. Apparently the drafting dept were still in discussion and figuring out how to do alfresco and balcony . All this was told to me the previous week. I had a sudden thought whilst dropping off to sleep yesterday when they changed our sink to the window they did not move the drains and tap for the dishwasher. Can not believe I missed that one or that it was not pointed out and prestart. Messier to rinse the dishes and then take over to dishwasher. Too late now. Which Clarke sink did you have? Perhaps check the website and see if there is something similar? We have one of the Clarke undermount sinks, pretty happy with it after 5 weeks Just realised I had not replied to ur post. Sorry. We upgraded the sink at prestart to a Clarke "Grande 1.75 end bowl". Well we put in a choice of having either another Clark's sink "Peter Evans 1.7 end bowl" or an Oliveri "Sonetto SN 1071" They have given us the Oliveri sink. I am happy with this. I would have liked an under mount sink, but could not persuade OH to forgo a drainer . He thought it will be another week and a half before the roof structure is completely finished-that takes us to mid next week. SS said he would get some photos of the roof by this Fri so I eagerly await them. SS hopes that the Colourbond roof will be in situ before the Xmas break so fingers crossed. Our RedInk Build Thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64118&p=1004131#p1004131 ** Timeline Page 1 Moved In - 19.12.13 Re: Building with Redink South West in Myalup 58Dec 06, 2013 11:05 pm Well I received an email from CLO to tell me the Chippie (only one person?) will take another one and a half weeks to complete the roof structure . Um I think I was told that last week. So in other words no progress. Why do they not just say this. Would also just like a simple explanation. Is that to much to ask for. We after all paying them money. They were quick enough to ask for payment when we reached plate height 4 -5 weeks ago. Can anyone tell me how long the gap between the completion of their brick work and the start of the roof carpentry was. So of course due to the static nature of our build the photos have not eventuated. So all We can hope for is that the work is up to standard and does not reflect that of their communication.
