We are going down the path of building our own house and despite searching alot we haven't been able to find a draftsman / house designer which someone has used and would recommend. I am reluctant to pick one from the yellowpages as I have heard some horror stories! So if you have used a drafty which was knew his/her stuff, provided a good service and didn't charge an arm and a leg I would like to here from you! Some details about the job - Simple two story - Around 300-330 Sqm's - Landsdale WA We are looking to get a full set of drawings (elevation, working etc) so if you have an idea of how much we should be expecting to pay that would help a lot also. We're happy with the result and the communication and turnaround times have been good. They do three stages (concept/planning/working drawings), however our builder wishes to do the working drawings so we are using them for the first two stages only. PM me if you have any questions.
