Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Is anyone building with Perry Homes?? 2Sep 19, 2013 5:14 pm i have seen alot of perry homes being built around our way and people very happy with them there is also a perry home being built next door to us and ones just completed front and back the manger are great and houses are built very fast. this is for coffs harbour we nearly went with perry for our house whereabouts are you building Re: Is anyone building with Perry Homes?? 3Sep 19, 2013 5:41 pm We are building in Yamba & went with Perry Homes from Coffs. It has been a headache to get to building stage. And yes they are quick at building. We have our slab & frame up in 3-4weeks. I'm just curious to know how other people's experience with them has been... Who did you build with 1rocky??? Re: Is anyone building with Perry Homes?? 4Sep 19, 2013 7:12 pm i built with adenbrook as i wanted a custom home and perry where not able to do this. but they were a top contender. i did love their display home here . there is a version of the display home being built next door to us . i think it is going through council at moment. the neighbors have told me that perry homes have been very good with handover . a couple of small issues which where fixed straight away. the SS visits everyday the house nearing completion. the only issue they had was not being able to do variation during construction but they said this was only minor and did not bother them. Re: Is anyone building with Perry Homes?? 5Sep 19, 2013 8:11 pm Ahh the Palazzo That's the actual home we are building right now too... I'd be curious to know how much its costing your neighbour as its costing us a fortune along with a few kidneys. We chose the same size plan as the display but pushed the garage forward a bit to make more room in the media room. Just doing that alone cost us around 10k. Adenbrook have some nice homes but my partner had his heart set on Perry's. Re: Is anyone building with Perry Homes?? 6Sep 20, 2013 7:06 am they are having a triple garage and split level so it will nearly fill the entire block then there are the retaining walls so it will also cost small fortune. i think you will be very pleased with your perry home the palazzo is a beautiful home are you also getting the alfresco bbq area i so love the alfresco they have. Re: Is anyone building with Perry Homes?? 7Sep 20, 2013 10:22 am Wow that sounds great! The Palazzo is a gorgeous house an we picked it solely for the outdoor area We got rid of the corner wall so we could include a fridge next to the BBQ along that wall that runs from the kitchen if that makes sense. We are also extending out driveway up the side of the garage so we can but the boat or extra car. I never once thought to add the extra space in the garage. A carport should do the job though. We had issues with our bricks too so we chose a new boral brick out which I love but at the same time I've not seen it on a house as its new so I'm very nervous an hope it looks consistent & does the house justice. I'll start a new topic this weekend soley on our house an it's progress so you can see pics but I can also keep track of all our choices Do you have any pics on here of your house?? I'd love to see some Re: Is anyone building with Perry Homes?? 8Sep 20, 2013 3:55 pm you can click on the bottom of this post and click on the view topic it will take you to my thread. love the idea of getting rid of the corner wall so you can get a fridge there , it is exciting and nervous at the same with the bricks as we were the same looking forward to seeing pics and plans of your house .
