Hi Guys,
It's been a bit quiet here as nothing has been happening!
Except for my panicking about my kitchen and how I want to change it already

But I did go to the house today and they are repainting the facade, in the middle of changing the timber strapping (looks much better, even raw) and still waiting for the front doors. After this we should hopefully be in.... but I won't hold my breath.

After waiting 3 weeks for some type of movement on the house, they have started and will be done by end of week

I am soooo excited! Our facade is in the middle of being repainted and the strapping and doors have now been changed. Looks much better. They also had to fix the section above the garage.

In regards to my kitchen dillema, looks like there are a few great ideas to consider, so we will move in and then decide on which way to go.

Now all we are waiting for is the final invoice (as they did a mistake on the original final one :roll:

) and then the keys. I bet it will take another three weeks before the keys are actually handed over, so I'll try my best to calm down

Afternoon guys

Well we are finally on our way to moving into our house ::cheerleader::

Yes that's right! The cleaners are at the house today and on Monday we have our very final inspection, then handover of the keys. I can't believe it's actually here :shock:

So much to do, I never knew how hard it could be. So I spent about 2 hours this morning looking up home/contents insurance and researching different gas/electricity companies.

Need to go and buy a temporary letterbox as people have began sending mail to our house :roll:

Well, I'm heading down later this afternoon to have a peek so I will post some pics ASAP.

Isn't it amazing what you need to organise to move in, was thinking bout it the other day, we need towel holders and toilet roll holders letter box, antenna, just to name a few!

In regards to home and content insurance, a good site to 'compare' the best ones is cannex, if you google that, it will come up
