Yeah, we wanted to extend the indoors with the outdoors and having the right doors between the house and the deck took a lot of planning. We even made it so the deck and inside floor level was the same so you wouldn't have to step over the door channels. (all flush) Keogh has done a great job in setting that up. A Re: New Build in Gisborne Vic 25Feb 17, 2014 9:22 am yea leveling it all is a good idea if you want it to flow. Its also a great way for entertaining throughout summer and even in the winter months. How big is the house? im assuming over 30sqs? My garage takes up a lot of space. A Re: New Build in Gisborne Vic 28Feb 17, 2014 10:48 am Wow! Nice and big! I love the floor plan as well! A large garage is what every man needs! Re: New Build in Gisborne Vic....At lock up 29Feb 18, 2014 6:55 am Site clean done. The block looks so much better now that all the crap has been taken away. Conrete cutter dude has been inside to square up all the edges before the bearers are laid. Meeting with the Sparky on Sat to finalise the electrical plan before the roughing in starts. Also I think the plumber is back this week to to start the inside water. Should be a big few weeks! Re: New Build in Gisborne Vic 33Feb 22, 2014 7:29 pm Oh that looks so so so nice! Those floor boards are really nice Re: New Build in Gisborne Vic 34Feb 24, 2014 7:19 am Timber flooring is now finished. (Sanding and stain will come after the plaster is completed) Electrics and plumbing start today and should take 2-3 days for roughing. Plaster next week. Plumber not coming onsite until tomorrow and sparky not coming until late next week. Down pipes were installed on Monday but the drainer will need to come in and trench the SW pipes. Not sure when that will happen. So just playing the waiting game now. Re: New Build in Gisborne Vic 36Mar 05, 2014 12:12 pm The waiting game is the worst, do you know when it will roughly be completed? Re: New Build in Gisborne Vic 39Mar 05, 2014 8:21 pm Brendo Gisborne is gorgeous and so is your new home! I can't wait to see it unfold. Thanks Brendo. It is nice up in Gisborne. The trees are starting to turn purple for autumn and making the place look magic. Big change from living in Yarraville. Thanks for the kind words on the house. Still lots to do. It's basically just past lock up. So hoping end of my will be it. A I have posted this before: We hired Darbecca to do every stage inspection, and I strongly recommend them to anyone that asks me. They were amazing. Thorough reports… 2 4518 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17628 |
