We checked out the land a week ago and it looks like its coming along good. One side looks ready and they were working on the other half. We're building a Flagstaff21 Cheers Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 3Sep 13, 2013 3:09 pm Thanks for reply Oliverseiden, yes it is coming along, we are on Mcculloch st, we tossed up choosing the flagstaff...it's a nice home...thanks for link, I will head over there now. Cheers Building our first home! Sheffield 25 @ Eden Grange Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 4Sep 16, 2013 9:25 am I'll just stick with this thread, the lack of capitals on the other one really gets me. I heard there are new street lights in? Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 5Sep 18, 2013 4:04 pm Really? We drove out there on Saturday and didn't see any lights but we noticed the other side of the road had been dug out for the new gutters which means new road coming soon! Building our first home! Sheffield 25 @ Eden Grange Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 6Sep 19, 2013 8:37 am Maybe it was just Brighton Street. My sister-in-law is building two lots down and said there were some lights. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 7Sep 26, 2013 7:04 pm We visited the site last weekend. Street lights in, road in centre of estate, gutted on Brighton. We're on McCullogh too, perhaps we're neighbours Shellstar?! We're building a Saville. Where is everyone up to on tender, contact etc? We just signed the contact so we're doing the colour selection soon. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 8Sep 29, 2013 6:23 am I visited last week too and yes I do see the street lights now... Cheznath, we could be.. What lot are you? We are on lot 62. We have our tender appointment this Wednesday... Can't wait for the fun stuff to begin! Building our first home! Sheffield 25 @ Eden Grange Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 9Sep 29, 2013 7:14 pm We're done with Day One of the selection stage and day two is booked for a few weeks. I think 14 is our block number, we're on the corner of Brighton and one of the new ones Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 10Oct 01, 2013 11:17 am Shellstar, we're neighbours! We're in Lot 63!!!! Perhaps we should discuss our fencing preferences, lol! Just kidding, still early days but we told Eden Brae to pass on our contact details to neighbours anyway..... Or we can just discuss on here! Is it you & your partner, kids moving in?? It's just my hubby & I & our cat! Hope you like cats? She's an indoor kitty now but as we will be getting bifold doors she'll become an indoor/outdoor one! Oliver, how did Day 1 go? Did you do much research beforehand? Our appointment will be in 2 weeks. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 11Oct 01, 2013 1:55 pm Yeah pretty good, we changed bricks a few times in the lead up to the booking and settled on a brick as we sat in the car outside waiting. We didn't do much more study than that though, we knew we wanted the glossing cabinets and the stone tops but one thing is the space for your fridge. current size for us is 900 and than take off the gyprock/corner things etc and its really like 810 so we will expand it slightly se we aren't limiting ourselves to a certain size fridge. I did just see that ED have released a few more lots in the estate with a price of about $320ish per block, maybe I can get the bank to revalue it and maybe get a higher value Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 12Oct 02, 2013 11:14 am Great, thanks for the tips! We're planning to revisit the display homes to confirm what style & colours we like for bricks, kitchen etc, then a trip to PGH bricks to check those out before our appointment. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 13Oct 02, 2013 12:06 pm Oh wow Cheznath.... How good to meet a neighbour already... We had our tender app this morning and asked about fencing and how do we meet our neighbors! Lol my husband and myself along with our 2 daughters who are 9 & 6... Plus our golden retriever Holly.... We are fine with cats... Although doubt she will enter our yard when she sees Holly... They may become mates lol.... How exciting to meet you! Building our first home! I'm curious to see the rest of the estate and how it will look. That's the one thing I would try to push the budget on... They give the kitchen that wow factor... Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 17Oct 06, 2013 4:29 pm I am building in Lot 9. I usually drive pass the property once a fortnight to check the progress (it is a 10 minutes driven from where I live). It is been bit slow, not sure why. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 19Oct 07, 2013 11:24 am Hi, I am writing to understand if anyone opted for cbus and/or led down lights? Ta, Riza Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 20Oct 07, 2013 8:42 pm Hi Riza, We removed the downlight package altogether, but have ordered led down lights for the front of the house- garage, porch & front windows on the eaves. Just out of curiosity what is cbus? Also noticed that things have slowed down the last couple weeks. Anyone know what's happening? We spent close to 2 years in a process with TA. It was horrible..... we got to tender, and the first cut was 50% over our budget which "they care such about meeting ". We… 18 27904 I built with EB back on 2009.
