Plumbers have given us the most headache during the build..Wrongly installed Ensuite taps, twice! We have been waiting for 2 weeks to get it fixed..still no sign of keys! Our build - Moved In! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79629 Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 804Mar 04, 2016 7:30 pm good news is it is being fixed. Apparently the conduit is blocked. Having a Pre PCI next week, which is a tad exciting as there's actually not to many issues. Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 805Mar 04, 2016 7:32 pm Perth_Euro good news is it is being fixed. Apparently the conduit is blocked. Having a Pre PCI next week, which is a tad exciting as there's actually not to many issues. Great news about the pre PCI PE (how's that for a bunch of acronyms?) you must be so excited! Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 806Mar 09, 2016 9:34 pm Does anyone have a copy of the “HIA Guide to Materials and Workmanship For Residential Building Work Edition 2" that they could send me electronically?
Getting ready for PCI and the builder is not in my good books at the moment. edit, i found v1 but if anyone has v2 that would be good. Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 807Mar 09, 2016 10:22 pm Looking good guys! love the glass slider doors Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 809Mar 09, 2016 10:59 pm Sorry wish I could help I hope all is ok Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 810Mar 09, 2016 11:03 pm its ok, just frustrating. We have some issues to work through, its more frustrating that things have gone so well and now we are at the pointy end we are looking at things that can cause delays (still within contract time, but outside our expectations) The doc i quoted is their reference doc and i just wanted to get up to speed so i can respond quoting it to them too. Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 811Mar 10, 2016 12:18 pm Good plan, fight fire with fire but guess it's going to take some work to find the same book by the looks of it. Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 812Mar 10, 2016 12:49 pm Found it on HIA website for $40. Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 813Mar 13, 2016 11:32 pm We had a PCI of sorts on Fri with the owner of the company and the SS. It took nearly 4 hours. It went well, with plenty of discussion around our quality of finish expectations and a list of things they can get a head start on before PCI proper. Turns out the conduit for tap is stuffed, so they are going to use one of the ones I got wrong for the pool. All n all happy and now it's time for them to deliver. Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 814Mar 14, 2016 7:24 am Fingers crossed they deliver - your home is looking beautiful and deserves the best in terms of the builder <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=62083">viewtopic.php?t=62083</a><!-- l --> Re: Family Home - Bedfordale - PCI 3 weeks 25/3/16 815Mar 14, 2016 10:57 am I'm sure your builder will do all the right things Good idea to do a pre PCI we are going to do the same.
