Hope your titles come through quicker than ours did ... took us almost a year As for disappearing posts ... it tends to happen usually when you've taken the time to write a big one , I've found the best thing to do is COPY it before submitting or previewing then if it goes walk about you can just PASTE it and try again. Re: Shans Prestart - Newhaven Piara waters - lots of pics :) 16May 10, 2010 2:22 pm not much to be honest! my land settled may 3 yay!! but ive heard nothing since. my rep is useless to say the least can even muster the energy to reply to my email asking about when it goes to council...grrrr so frustrating just waiting hey. final plans have been signed 3times due to errors and i think im at the stage i never want to see them ever again...hehe i think everyone probably feels like that by this stage though i see you have your pad. looks great! hopefully those bricks wont be to far away and youll beat the winter rain. can i ask you how long yours took from settlement of land through council? and then after approval to get your pad? Seems like every useless person works in the building and finance industries. Hopefully you don't encounter any more of them. Re timelines - got final council approval on Friday April 16 - builder started trenching on saturday and slab was poured on Thursday April 22 (2 days after I got approval in mail). My time line is a bit different to most - my land is not in an estate its in an established area and was already titled so I didn't have to wait on settlement. Its also in a heritage area so preliminary drawings were lodged with Council straight away - well before selections/final drawings - because Council could (and did) request changes to fit the character of the area. So basically I'm not much help to you Re: Shans Prestart - Newhaven Piara waters - lots of pics :) 18May 10, 2010 4:51 pm Sharky, is that "Zebrano" for the bathroom you have chosen? Zebrano is my fave at the moment. Re: Shans Prestart - Newhaven Piara waters - lots of pics :) 19May 10, 2010 6:08 pm hey dollar to be honest im not sure what its called. my best mates family have a tiling business so i got all my feature tiles as discontinued lines. cant wait to see the finished product it will look great! are you going to go with the 'zebrano'? your house looks like its coming along nicely, but surely you had to choose your tiles ages ago..unless you owner built? :) When times get tough build a house...Our second build Re: Shans Prestart - Newhaven Piara waters - lots of pics :) 20May 10, 2010 6:43 pm Hahaha Sharky it's wayyyyy too late to go with Zebrano as we have moved into the new home. Been in just over a week. That's gotta be handy knowing tradies and people who work within the building industry. You have made fantastic choices for your home. Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17598 Thanks mate. Yeah good points!
