Pool expo is this weekend by the way. We're going and am hoping we get a deal:-) Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 91Mar 05, 2014 9:12 am Cool we might go & try & grab a bargain too, we went to the home show last weekend & to be honest I didn't think it was that great no bargains to be had lol Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 92Mar 05, 2014 9:15 am Hey we were there last weekend too. First one i've ever been to and I was pretty disappointed. I think home base expo has better displays. The "deal" carpet court offered me on bamboo flooring is same as I got quoted in store a month ago:-) hope pool expo is better. Also we need outdoor ideas. good luck Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 93Mar 05, 2014 9:19 am We went to the pool show last time & we were offered a few good deals but weren't ready then so hopefully we can get another good deal at the weekend. We haven't got a clue what to do outside not very good with that sort of stuff, need someone to design it for us!!!! Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 94Mar 05, 2014 10:04 am Yep feeling the same way about our outside. hoping the show will inspire us & convince hubby to commit to a pool:-) Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 95Mar 05, 2014 11:35 am Torz1980 Cool we might go & try & grab a bargain too, we went to the home show last weekend & to be honest I didn't think it was that great no bargains to be had lol We went to the homeshow too, I meant to ask if you were going - I wasn't very impressed either. We were interested in the Brightgreen brand downlights, but the reps were so insincere we didn't bother. Lots of random stands, although I wish I bought one of those self heating heat packs now haha, they were probably the best thing there! JC entered every competition possible, took forever! Not a winner, in anything Drove past your slab the other night, its so big! Have you been watering it? Are you going to the pool and spa expo? We're thinking of going to that too Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 96Mar 05, 2014 11:43 am No not watered the slab was told not to bother, looks ok at the moment a few surface cracks but nothing major!! Yeah gonna go the show probably on Sunday as sun has cricket on Saturday & it's my turn to score gonna try & palm my kids off on someone though as they were a pain in the backside last time we went Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 97Mar 05, 2014 11:57 am Torz1980 No not watered the slab was told not to bother, looks ok at the moment a few surface cracks but nothing major!! We will probably only be looking at a refurbished pool, I see palm city pools are going but I don't know if theres any other second hand pool dealers going. Met another neighbour of ours last night, he was so nice . Hoping to get front render today Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 98Mar 05, 2014 12:31 pm Yeah definitely worth going I think they will do you a good deal as they do show specials! We were looking at refurbished too & I think it's called Bay pools they do refurbished in rocky. I can't believe how quick yours is going up you will be in before we have even got a roof lol Re: First build with Redink Homes- slab is down 99Mar 05, 2014 1:33 pm Also lagoon pools does refurb but not sure if they'll be at the show. I can't believe how quick yours is going up you will be in before we have even got a roof lol I just emailed that bay pools, didn't even know they existed! I got one quote from Palm city and they didn't seem that great customer service wise, also JC's brother's next-door neighbour went with them and they said they wouldn't go with them again, their 'final' cost increased by thousands of dollars once the work commenced. Sounds like we will be going to the Pool show too I know its happening so quickly - yet they still haven't moved the powerpoint, or added the other one even though they have grey floated over it - just making more work for themselves!
