Check out cupcakes blog she has the black della vita ones . Thanks! Oh yes, white was not an option at all! We have light grey tiles in our current rental and I mop the floor and literally the next day it's dirty again What's the link for her blog? Would love to check out the tiles. Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 105Jan 20, 2015 8:31 am TheTurleys It all looks great. About 7 weeks until PCI I'm guessing??? Thanks how are you settling into your house? Drove past it the other week, looks great! Yeah something like that, very exciting. Suppose I should start thinking about packing things away soon. Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 106Jan 20, 2015 8:44 am It's all slowly coming together. I'm finding this part the most stressful. Still have tradies deliveries etc coming through. And because we have such a large return getting a fence, brickie and arranging landscape has been an issue. Have you contacted the people for your side wall and fences? They are pretty slow so I'd get onto that now. Also you can get the ball rolling with the landscapers too. Who do we contact for the side wall and fence? LWP? That's a good idea. I might get onto that now! Thanks Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 109Jan 20, 2015 12:13 pm Melsie68 I don't know how to post a link lol . But look up cupcakes or Sharon's build. I hope that helps . Thanks, yes had a look at her blog! Tiles look great in her house, makes me feel a bit better now Looking forward to seeing them in mine. Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 110Jan 21, 2015 5:33 pm Sorry Steph, still not got proper internet. The wall people are Suburban Street Scapes and the fence is Treacy Fencing. They say 8 weeks from tiler starting, so tell them that's your handover date. Will get onto that soon. Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 112Jan 26, 2015 12:28 pm We were apprehensive about visiting the house over the weekend, as we didn't expect to see much (as we are locked out), but we ended up going for a drive anyway. My partner was the first to notice the big boxes in the rubbish and we rushed to the sliding doors to view our kitchen. Our gorgeous 900mm oven was installed, along with the 5 point gas stove and range hood. It all looks amazing and I can't wait to start baking in it! We also noticed the kitchen sink was in and our awkwardly tall tap - don't remember it looking this tall in prestart but on the other hand I suppose it will be practical, especially since we have a deep sink. Our client liaison has told us they are looking at 4 weeks til completion Freaked out a bit when she said that, I have to get organized - very excited though. Q: Once build is completed, how long does it usually take for you to receive keys? Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 113Jan 27, 2015 1:25 pm 4 weeks!! Wow!! Good on Blueprint! We had our keys in under a week of PCI, but it's up to you whether you want all items sorted before hand over or whether you are happy for tradies to come once you are in. I've had people in non stop and theres always a mess to tidy, but I'm glad I did it that way as the Christmas break gave us time to get the place sorted. Most companies say give it two weeks. Plus you also need to wait for the banks valuation and then for them the transfer the money. Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 114Jan 27, 2015 3:39 pm Everything is looking great, hope the fires didn't get too close! You're about a week in front of us I think and you're being told 4 weeks, gives me hope, we were told 10 weeks haha. Good luck, loving it all Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 115Jan 31, 2015 12:07 am TheTurleys 4 weeks!! Wow!! Good on Blueprint! Client liaison said handover is estimated for mid march - which works out correctly from what you've said. I think it will be around 2 weeks after pci because we are loaning from keystart and they are known to take some time to hand over the last payment. Yeah we've just got a 4x2 house on a 365m2 block so it shouldn't take them too long. That's so exciting now. Getting very close! I'll have to have a look through your build Re: First Home - Annie's Landing **TILING COMMENCED** 118Feb 09, 2015 9:48 am So had a minor issue with the laminate or lack of on the rear panels to our kitchen bench. We had originally wanted the box stand on the kitchen bench to have the same contrasting laminate to the rear panels on the cupboards. For some reason, blueprint decided to leave it out. Luckily I had the paperwork (which I thought they would too) and showed them evidence we paid extra for the laminate. They are happy to give us the credit back of $375 or to have it installed. We are happily accepting the credit as it will be needed and we don't want to cause any delays. A win-win situation. We also had a surprise when we visited and noticed our limestone patterned wall had been completed. We love it! Very happy with all our colour choices, everything has come together nicely.
