Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 29, 2013 11:11 pm Hi We have just bought some land in Carramar and need to find a builder so just wondering who people recommend. I would especially like to know of any good ones who have experience in the City of Wanneroo as they will already know what the council wants when it comes to council approval. We are going to be building a single story house and good quality finishes and workmanship are really important. We are also wanting a custom built home so a company that also does custom designs will be great. Thanks in advance Re: Can anyone recommend a good builder in Perth NOR? 2Aug 30, 2013 1:48 am I'll start by saying I'm probably not going to be too helpful here - and I'm not building NoR either - but... The best thing to do is visit display homes to get a sense of what you are going to want to build - and also see what sort of finishes different builders put into their display homes. Also, talk to every consultant while you are going thru the homes, ask them questions about the approach builders use, what the standard finishings are, what is and isn't included - the more people you talk to, the easier it is to get a picture of what reality is and what is sales fluff because most builders have a similar baseline. If you have the budget and are looking for a boutique builder NoR - I'd recommend having a chat to Spadaccini Homes. We met with them when we were planning our house but unfortunately our budget wasn't going to stretch to justify using them. Demo + Build in Rivervale, Western Australia Moved in June 2014 http://rivervale.tumblr.com/ Building Thread I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 15265 Thanks. I called VBA today and they said it was a Consumer Affairs issue, the old handball. Seems like the government organisations don't want to do their job at the moment. 2 7556 1 333 |
