Hi Nat,
Sorry just to clarify, do we need a TV antenna to use the NBN?
Thanks.

We have asked for an extra phone point for the alarm. And also we have 3 additional phone points. Planning to get the voip phone + data package from nbn provider and would like all these phone points to work as well. Sent an email to Sentinel personnel who are doing all the cabling to check if the phone points they provide will be nbn compatible, yet to hear from her. Since the hub needs to be connected to the nbn box, perhaps it is best if we get the nbn connection box to be in the garage as well. Didn't get too many data points added in the house itself, so will want to use them for PC's, TV etc. Re: Voyager Point - Heartwood 546Oct 05, 2014 9:59 pm Congratulations Ren, on your new home!! Wishing you all the very best settling in and making it your own. You are our first neighbour on Warraburra Way. Looking forward to getting to know you a whole lot better! Cheers Re: Voyager Point - Heartwood 553Oct 16, 2014 9:06 am Yeh it was fine. No flooding and no major damage that I could see. I saw your slab today It looks huge Renee1979, I like your external lights, you know we have to pass by your house (we usually are the ones who make them turning on) Also, we have a roof so happy for that although we lost a month on the bricklaying Re: Voyager Point - Heartwood 556Oct 28, 2014 6:22 pm Looking forward to our first Halloween at VP. I have heard it is a bit of an event here. Trick or Treating will be on Saturday night (01/11/14) to allow for more families to participate. I hope we will get a few cute monsters and witches visiting us. It might be a good night to come visit your block if you have not finished your build. www.villinaatvoyager.blogspot.com.au Re: Voyager Point - Heartwood 557Feb 20, 2015 10:20 am Nice to see that a lot of people have now moved into completed homes. Can I ask that if you do see anyone dumping rubbish to please take down plate numbers or report it to the Police, Liverpool Council 1300 36 2170 or the EPA 1300 361 967 Or please post in this forum so that maybe the owner of the land can get details and report it. A lot of rubbish has started to be dumped on my building site which is causing delays. Re: Voyager Point - Heartwood 558Feb 15, 2016 10:13 am kavehman Loz11 Ren, that is really disappointing & frustrating about the Hot Water Service! Thanks for the tip regarding the serial number though. kavehman, do you know which the other lot is that has also applied for the granny flat with its own frontage & separate fencing? There are currently 3 applications for homes with granny flats. 1 is incorporated into the main house so doesn’t seem to be an issue (please click this link for plans, once you click agree it will take you through to the next page, plans are under documents) http://eplanning.liverpool.nsw.gov.au/P ... ?id=280644 Hey that's our place! Yeah the reason it's not an issue is because I think the rules make sense, so I have no problem following them. Our granny flat is meant for our kids' actual granny. My understanding is we'd never be able to subdivide our lot anyway, and besides, we want to actually live there. Re: Voyager Point - Heartwood 559May 20, 2016 11:03 am Hi all, I am new to the Forum and I have joined because me and my wife have just purchased a block at Voyager Point and I am happy to say we will be building our new home starting in a few months. I have a million questions to ask however any feedback from any of you who have built in VP would be welcomed! Do I have any neighbours on here at Bullrush Crescent? I have a few initial questions: - Does VP have gas available? - Has NBN been made available at VP as of yet? - What building issues did you encounter in VP? eg. Flood Zone, Bushfire Zone etc. - Has anyone faced any issues with Liverpool council during their build? Re: Voyager Point - Heartwood 560May 23, 2016 10:09 am Hi DNP We are on Bullrush Crescent, but the top end - I take it you just brought the block near the bend? I can confirm that VP does have gas and we are lucky enough to have NBN - The older section of VP doesn't have NBN yet. We didn't have any Bushfire allowances in our build as are just outside the zone and I think from memory we are a 1 in 100 year flood zone. We did have to have different piering because of the salt content in the soil but nothing major. As for Liverpool Council, it took 6 months for our DA to be approved, definitely the most painful bit for us - Not sure what their turnaround is like now. Building Standards; Getting It Right!
