The earliest one might be waiting for the other two to catch up. I think it depends on which subbies they are being used. If they have to travel, it can be more economical if they have several jobs rather than just one. But I don't really know. Re: Statesman-Greenock at Elizabeth Park - site works commen 65Mar 19, 2014 1:13 pm Just had a chat to my builder. The footing is booked for 25 March and all other preparation work will be done before that but I have checked last night and there were no progress so far. Will visit the site again on Friday to see how it is going. Things will start to fly along now I'm sure. Re: Statesman-Greenock at Elizabeth Park - slab 72Apr 01, 2014 11:35 am Thanks guys. No progress so far as the slab has to cure for at least a week but next door Hickies built had frame delivered as of last night. For some reason it was damped on the empty block next to us and at first moment I have thought that it is our frame but then I have looked over it and seen the lot number and company name on it and was a little bit disappointed... anyway, the builder told me it will not take more then 2 week max for the frame to be delivered for our built so I am pretty positive that we will see the some action soon. Oh, it drives me crazy that nothing is going to be done for more than two weeks. Carpenter should start on site Monday after the delivery. I just hope it is not going to rain next week as the forecast predicts thunder on Thursday First house - Statesman Greenock (modified) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66876 Second house - Fairmont Grand Design (modified) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=100789 Re: Statesman-Greenock at Elizabeth Park - slab 74Apr 05, 2014 8:15 am All the best for next week. Hope the frame goes up as scheduled on Thursday. Re: Statesman-Greenock at Elizabeth Park - slab 75Apr 08, 2014 12:45 pm thanks _lucinda. I have visited the site last night. It was a bit dark to take any photos but the next door house frame has almost been completed. On our side we have skip bin and bricks delivered already. So looking forward to see the frame First house - Statesman Greenock (modified) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66876 Second house - Fairmont Grand Design (modified) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=100789 Re: Statesman-Greenock at Elizabeth Park - slab 76Apr 08, 2014 8:47 pm Yay! I remember how excited I was when my sister sent me a picture of bricks arriving. I still love my bricks (except they are covered in dirt because of the building all around us and the windy weather--but I have to expect that; dirt will wash off). Re: Statesman-Greenock at Elizabeth Park - slab 77Apr 08, 2014 9:00 pm I went for a quick look tonight (can't resist it ) and next door has finished frame and even foil all around the house. Exciting especially the weather was not that flash today I think I am more excited at the moment about house next door than mine as they have more progress so far I will be at the same position later as the blocks on one side did not start any work just yet so I expect they will build when we already finished so it will be a lot of dirt around...
