We have Jeff looking into it. I hope he can put an end to it. We made a temporary fence to prevent it from happening again over the break until our builder will put up the normal fence. Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 623Apr 12, 2015 7:35 pm Melodynche Oh no homeofjns we have just been advised today that we have four truckloads of soil put on our lot as well. We're on our way out now to see the damage. How was Jeff able to identify who it was?? Sorry to hear that Melodynche! Culprit in our case was the builder who was building on our adjacent block, hence was easy to identify. Hope you get to know who did that to your block as well! Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 624Apr 12, 2015 7:36 pm How did you know that they did it and what builder was it? How expensive is that? Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 626Apr 12, 2015 7:41 pm We ended up buying some star pickets and safety mesh from bunnings for about $100. That just lasted until after the Easter break. Out builder has now put the fence up and we were able to use some of the dirt on our lot. Lucky we didn't have to pay. Still no sign on who was dumping on our lot. I expect Jeff is still be looking into it. Also peering was done yesterday! Woohoo Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 627Apr 13, 2015 4:35 pm Wow that's good news! We got to know because we had pallets left on our block with the same tiles as the next block building roof tiles and some of it were unopened as well. People think it's their God given right to use the empty block next door for storage or throwing waste Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 628Apr 13, 2015 5:25 pm Oh you guys were lucky. We also had big rocks hidden in the dumped soil Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 630Jun 15, 2015 8:47 pm Hi homeofjns, our build is going well, our bricks were finished last week and should have a roof on by the end of the week if the rain pulls up. Glad to see its progressing a bit quicker these days. How is your progress going?? Looks like most of us have started now. Hopefully the rain will not last long as our roof tiles were delivered yesterday. Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 638Jun 16, 2015 6:32 pm Lahri, I hope you have a good build with Eden brae. My friend is building with them and have had hell since their land was registered. Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 639Jun 16, 2015 7:55 pm EK1976 yes I've seen your progress. Hopefully bump into you at the blocks. I hope your sister has had a better experience with M. I wonder if she knows about the Masterton forum on here, very lovely group of people Are our back neighbours are on here building the Metricon or Rawson? Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 640Jun 16, 2015 9:15 pm Hi MGardz, my sister doesn't go on these forums, but she had many issues with M, with delays and post contact variations. I guess most buildings have a lot of pre-construction delays,as it took my builder 9 months in tender and pre-construction stage, but now they have started there going pretty good... Melodynche, yes it great to see so many houses going up now, I love it! Just means by the time we move in most of construction will be complete... I follow the da tracker and both your back neighbours on Greenlink, have council approval Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you.
