LSTR - my little one is 2 on Wednesday, and we would like to have another one not long after we move in (so we will see how that works out lol) I love that MR is going to have a real family vibe and lots of young kids around. It will be even better when the new school opens. I am so impatient now we have approval. Once we go jnto the 20 workings days, I think it's going to be the longest 4 weeks ever! Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 393Apr 07, 2014 10:51 pm AiryFairy, hope the land dries up soon. I am picturing one trying to dry it with some kind of industrial fan/hair dryer. Happy birthday DreamHome! Congrats on the slab. No kids for us for a few years (probably) but great to see the range of ages thusfar! I am happy there are so many families. Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 394Apr 07, 2014 10:52 pm Dreamhome. Congratulations on your slab. We took a drive to check out our block tonight and saw your slab..what a great birthday..happy birthday! We got a portaloo today - how exciting!!!! No fence so I hope the hoons don't spot it. Airy fairy. We hope that the rains stop too so both our blocks dry out. Our slab has been put back to 14th. Would love to have a slab for Easter. I hope my wish comes true for both of us. Congrats to Renski too on her PCI today. So close now. Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 396Apr 08, 2014 1:31 pm Yay dreamhome! Congrats on your slabbing. Happy birthday too! I(f you happen to find anything about Fairy Tales, I'm interested) - lol! Holidays are coming - we can drink plenty of coffee lstr - is your hubby primary or high school? Is he nearby? My DH works very close to where we are now. HFM - I LOVE your thinking lol. Though I don't see why we can't get started when dreamhome just got slabbed. We are pretty close! I'm thinking excuses... Sunrise - let's hope the sun rises and dries up all the rain. (Sorry, just taught Nursery Rhymes unit to my kindy's lol) Home sick today, but I desperately want a coffee. Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 397Apr 08, 2014 11:13 pm Kjhosko. It is very exciting!!!! Congrats. Hope they do a quick turnaround for you. Airyfairy. Any news? Love your nursery rhyme. Hope you got your coffee. We got our piers done and some form work. Very excited. The house opposite us also got piering and slab plumbing done today. Darug is on the move! Best pressie ever Sunrise - 14th will come quick now you have piers you'll get your waffle pods soon. Happy days. Why don't you have your fence yet. Hopefully the hoons decided to sleep tonight and not go searching. AF - I can see why you're wondering why you can't get things happening on block when other homes are. Hopefully the wait isn't too long KJ - you'll be racing against the others soon enough. Which builder can build a house quicker. Houses - ours is easy to spot. Fence is down now. 3 homes in from the end. Sea like a distant memory me spending my Sundays driving around colour researching I love love love there are so many young families. Were going this move for the kids. So I can't wait for the community to build up. My PCI update is in blog. Click link in my sig. It's easier that way than posting pics. So stoked with house. It's beautiful. It's bear on perfect. Everything I imagined it to be Eden Brae Drysdale 27 | The Blog Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 399Apr 09, 2014 3:31 am Kjhosko Oh forgot to mention, LSTR we are using Better Pools & Spas, they were fantastic and did a really good price. We are just getting a 6 x 3 concrete pool. Our tiles/pavers are going to match the coping so it's streamline and then a glass fence which we will install ourselves. Good to know Kjhosko that you are going with better pools and spas. We are also going with them. But we have just started to have some issues with them regarding their knowledge about the council requirements. LSTR, our concrete pool is of 9 x 3.5. It's costing us around 45k for the pool along with the heating, water feature and the council fees. Fencing, tipping and all other things are extra. Re: Anyone building in Mulgoa Rise? 400Apr 09, 2014 8:48 am So jealous reading everyone's progress! Thanks for the pool prices. Hoping that once we get to the fixed price tender stage, we can assess wether a pool is on the cards. My hubby is anxious with how much building a house costs now and then adding a pool ontop - His dad keeps influencing him, thinks you can build for 300k. I just laughed.... I wish 300k hey. Maybe some 20 years ago! Airy fairy- my husband is high school but not in the area. Is your hubby high school? Maybe my hubby can get a job there as he's been at his school for Abt 10yrs now.. Maybe time for a change lol I'm keen to know when the primary school will go up. I've always thought I would send mine to a catholic school but there's so much funding in public schools and also if it's a small community school then it will also be nice. Meeting with Colt from WH again this Saturday to fine tune the plans and then they will go away and do the soil and land test thingo. Jeff has told me that I should save some money on my build there as our block is "flat as a tac" so site cost should be minimal. Glad to save any penny at the moment with the way our tender is looking thus far. On a seperate note: cooling off on our current house we sold ends today Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 17289 As title suggests, looking at using the interlocking Pentablock stacked stone products to replace failing timber retaining… 0 11148 I am building in claymore NSW and this is shown in the building envelope plan. … 0 4991 |
