I have not bought land yet but have been considering Mulgoa Rise. Can anyone please tell me why you chose the estate over others such as Jordan Springs and Caddens? My husband and I do not want to go out Jordan Springs way and would prefer to stay close to the M4. We were originally considering Caddens as my husband was adamant that he did not want to live in 'Glenmore Park' but due to the competition to acquire a decent size block of land (we want at least a 600-700 square metre block) I thought we should consider other areas.
I know there are a couple of blocks available at the moment in 3C - does anyone know when the next release might be?
Your views and suggestions would be appreciated!
I don't want to go near Jordan Springs and Caddens is much, much steeper than MR and I thought there would be a lot of extra fees/charges. Also the catchment area (for Caddens, not MR) is the school my kids were at before and as happy as I was with the school when my kids started there, I haven't been happy for about 18 months and were considering the private schools, even though we aren't religous.
I like MR because there is another entrance and we don't have to use the stupid windy entrance/exit to GP. I thought they were having lights there, not a roundabout as someone suggested before. Will be interested to find out. I hope it's lights - I get so sick of the stupid roundabout there .
As far as I was aware, another stage was released the other day, or will be shortly. The email I received said the blocks were smaller than you are looking for, but there will be another release after that with bigger blocks. Best to chat to Jeff though.
GoodLife, I know what you mean about it feeling like home. We had a very difficult year last year and after a significant loss, we decided there and then to make some changes. I had seen the sign for Mulgoa Rise on my way to work and drove in there and had a look and liked the feel of it and was going to take my husband and show him that weekend. The next day I got a cold call from the local Real Estate agent, who'd just started working there following up an enquiry from a few months before. I asked him to come and value the house and he gave us a good price. Within a week our house was sold, so we just went from there!
I really hope they turn the sales centre into a coffee shop & restaurant when they are done. Would be perfect.
Dreamtime, I'm a primary teacher as well and have done a few casual days at SCPS. When I enrolled my kids there at the end of last year I was happy with the principal. I worked with her for a short time at one of her previous schools and she is very dedicated.
Ms2010 we decided to go with Narellan pools. We are going with fibreglass because I like the look of them, there's no leaching through concrete, they are easier to heat so you have longer to use it and they aren't as cold as concrete pools. They guy is happy to do deals if a few of us get it done at the same time. To save on costs, we are getting it done as close as humanly possible to the finish of the house build. I am hoping that Narellan and Elderton can negotiate access at the end so we don't have to pay extra to cover it etc but we don't mind if it goes in after we move in. I just want to make sure that any peg out is done with respect to both builds and all electrical is accounted for so we don't have any nasty surprises with an extra meter box.
Wow, that is a marathon post. Well done if you actually read the whole thing! lol. It's way too hot to sleep.
