Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building with Dale Alcock in Ashby - Brick Dramas SIGH 101Mar 14, 2014 12:30 am Soo we raised it urgently with Dale Alcock and my partner went out to visit and they've put out portions of the white ones now.. It doesn't look too bad because they only got half way up the wall and now they are putting the white ones in. We can live with it how they have done it as they haven't done much on the back or front of the house. BUT the other fun part of my day was them calling me asking whether we did actually want the front rendered....! Turns out in the transfer from sketch to plan somebody didn't make it clear enough where the render finished and bricks start. Luckily our site manager picked it up based upon me sending the example photo for the reference of the white bricks!! Everything happens for a reason!. My Partner took some pics - i'll post them up in a sec.. the back door is about to be bricked in - and seriously, its one of the biggest/tallest sliding doors i've ever seen!!! woahhhhhhhh Done it once.. Lived in it a year.. Sold it.. Doing it again! Addicted to Building.. On the left just after Carramar shops? I'm not too worried, it'll contrast well with the render on the front.. As long as I get my white bits in somewhere i'm happy! Done it once.. My build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68002 Re: Building with Dale Alcock in Ashby - Brick Dramas SIGH 105Mar 23, 2014 12:18 pm Things are starting to get exciting - they are doing a great job with the bricks now and are making good progress! We think the wrong bricks got ordered as it looks like their going to render over the smaller bricks but thats ok! I just want to see it with the render in place now can't wait! Yeah we are in Pearsall and I drive along Pinjar road everyday for work. Watching the houses go up Thank you Pulse, I thought we did the right things; external shutters on all windows down all day, west side of the house nearly completely in the shadow of the large two… 6 25111 2 7921 This certainly doesn't look good.
