Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 13, 2016 10:42 am hi all just needing some advice with an issue with our bricks. We had a meeting with our ss yesterday and noticed that the bricks above the kitchen window have a " swollen " look to them and the lintel is bowing. they were only built 2 weeks ago. it is a large double storey wall that it is supporting. the window in the theatre has a steel beam that they realised they needed after they started building and is carrying less weight so shouldn't the kitchen window have the same?? what would be the recommended fixes? any advice is welcome please Re: advice needed 2Jul 13, 2016 3:09 pm Groovycookie any advice is welcome please You need to... 1.
