SEPEEDWAYCHICK Looks good
How much did ur 4 wardrobes cost?
Hi DG85, for the four wardrobes ( two are walk in robes) was just over $4000
Looks great! Love your kitchen colours and those wardrobes look awesome! Well done
beautiful Speedway! glad your settling in. have you met those easterlies?
Hi Ashgrove, we have met them a couple of times it can get a bit noisy sometimes but it's not the washing getting ripped off the line easterlies I've heard about, they weirdest thing is not knowing when it will be in, we moved inland from right near the beach and obviously with the sea breeze you can expect when the wind will come in. That will take a bit of getting used to
Looks great Speedway
Thanks Rick how is yours progressing?
Titles have just been issued, just need to sell our house now to proceed. Final plans are being drawn up and should be getting them in next week or so.

Hi guys so....we went to install our tandem pantry on Monday night found out my 1200 pantry cabinet requested at prestart and drafted on the plans is not a 1200mm after all I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to "using my pantry" after sending an email off they have decided - upon my suggestion - to remake the two pantry doors so that the right one can accommodate the pantry accessory.

Like I have heard many times on the forum mistakes happen it's how they are resolved that matters, here's hoping for speedy resolution

I've never heard of tandem pantries - sounds very fancy! Looking forward to see what it looks like when they've fixed it for you

So here is a photo of the Kessebommer accessory fitted after the cabinet guy left,
Here is a photo ( not a very good one ) of the pantry full with both pull outs installed.
The pullout on the left will be used for items that are not used every day (due to the pantry/laundry entry door being so close)

Here are a couple of better photos I just took
So I guess a "little" update is in order!
We have been VERY busy to say the least hubby has been busy getting his shed powered up, lights have been organised but are yet to be installed.
Busy planting our garden and spreading about 4 massive loads of mulch all for free! We needed to back fill our retaining walls so we bought a bob cat (to save my back) I think I did one load in our trailer and said nup hire a bob cat please!
We have a fair bit of dirt that needs to move around the house so the logical thing to do was buy a bob cat rather than hiring. The next big job which will be done after our holidays in July is getting the road base and gravel for the driveway and the for in front of the shed (bob cat comes in handy!)
As I said we have had our limestone retaining wall installed, looks fabulous! I will share my phone photos with my Ipad so that I can add photos of the walls off to do that now!

Hi Speedwaychick thanks for the update!
The pantry looks very practical but complicated. Couldn't work out at first how it wouldn't bump things off the opposite shelves if you closed the door but I see the 'inside' set is on a track thingy so also move! Clever stuff.
Wow your own bobcat how cool is that haha. Your retaining walls and shed look great and I LOVE the steps - it'll look amazing when all done

Hi Speedway chick, may I ask how much it cost you to have your sand pad retained?

I'm loving the pantry (still) the whole block before earthworks started was covered in grass we are really working with it at the moment lots of weed and feed. A good mow every weekend still a lot of patches here and there we have just had our rain water tank installed to pitures to follow

So I just realised I have not updated for a while, i think its time to start a new thread now based on the improvements and installations not referenced to Gemmil, but before this thread is signed off here are the pics of the rainwater tank, although late, as promised.
