Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 09, 2013 10:03 pm Hello All
Trying to do up a design to build. Its bits n peices at the moment, but i welcome anyfeedback on the general concept. It is based of the Cowramup Lodge by Ventura Homes Some info, block is 3000m2, and the bottom of the page is North facing The street also runs parallel to this northern front of the house. There is a bit of a valley view to the South West. The block slopes down north to south. I welcome any feedback. Love the plan and the big outdoor space! My only comment is the kitchen sink, will that be a bifold window to alfresco? If it is perhaps move th sink to one side or the other so you can have food on the bench to hand over. Touh I love the idea of a view while enjoying th view Re: Feedback on concept design 3Aug 10, 2013 11:40 am What a view! Great plan overall, just a couple ideas..: - garage to kitchen a bit of a distance, just in terms of carrying shopping etc, not sure how you could rectify without having to make big changes - I would put double French doors to the study, opening from the entry (opens the entry up and makes the study fell airy and spacious - maybe swapping the activity with the bedroom next to media, late night movies won't be an issue when kids are in bed and can supervise kids from living area - changing media entry to solid wall with double doors - pushing ensuite doors back a bit so the WIR is part of the bedroom, avoiding any issues with steam and mould in the wardrobe My Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=62841 Re: Feedback on concept design 4Aug 10, 2013 12:32 pm thanks for the feedback. Big thumbs up for moving ensuite door back. New neater plans attached, plus swapped rooms and activity around.
