Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 08, 2013 3:29 pm I have been visiting this site for months getting ideas for our new home, so I thought it was time to create a discussion myself to follow along with our build. We have chosen Buzz 1st Homes (who is Wow Homes' sister company) as our builder in the new Jindowie Estate in Yanchep. They are fairly new in Perth and I can't find a single review of them online (which worries me a little, but I guess no news is good news). We chose Buzz because we absolutely LOVE their home designs, they are just a little different from anything else out there and hey, who am I kidding - they're also pretty cheap! So far they have been great and have been walking us through the process quite painlessly. We have been given heaps of inclusions and are happy with them so far. We are only at the pre-start phase and our land titles won't be released until October this year, so we can't do much at the moment except pick our colours etc. I would love to hear from anyone else who is or has built with Buzz Homes in the WA area. Feel free to follow along with our progress, I'll try and update as much as I can and will upload progress pics too Here is our house plan - we are going with the Indiana Urban http://www.buzzhomes.com.au/images/pict ... n%20WM.pdf Building our first home in Jindowie Estate, Yanchep, WA with Buzz 1st Homes Re: Our First Home - Buzz 1st Homes - Yanchep, WA 2Aug 31, 2013 10:09 pm Hi ourmenagerie, My fiancé and I are looking at going through Buzz Homes so we will be following your progress with great interest. We are looking at the Christopher Maxx design as we like the Asian style. They seem to know what they are talking about, but i guess the proof will be in the pudding! As we are first time home buyers they will help us with everything from finance to locating us a plot of land etc etc We will be meeting with their finance lady this week so I will keep you, posted if you like? Hope it is all going well for you. Re: Our First Home - Buzz 1st Homes - Yanchep, WA 3Aug 31, 2013 11:00 pm Hi , we are not using Buzz but we are also building in Yanchep. We have a block of land in grass tree park, our titles are not due til Nov so like you we are just taking our time picking our colours etc. Re: Our First Home - Buzz 1st Homes - Yanchep, WA 4Sep 01, 2013 11:33 pm Hi rickdearden, nice to meet you We are first home buyers too and it's so confusing, luckily Buzz have been walking us through step by step so far. Jindowie looks nice , the blocks where a bit smaller than what we wanted so we decided on grass tree park . Where are you living at the moment ? The road works on Marmion are a nightmare at the moment but glad they are doing it now and not when we are living up in Yanchep ! I have been doing my shopping at woollies in Yanchep just because its so quiet and parking is a breeze !! Re: Our First Home - Buzz 1st Homes - Yanchep, WA 9Sep 03, 2013 11:10 am Yeah, I was born in Auckland too We are south of the river at the moment, which sucks, it takes us over an hour to get to our block in Jindowie. Our block is tiny, it's only 210m. But it's our first house and there is only my partner and I and our two little ones, so it's big enough for now.
