Hi all,
Thought I might start a thread if my own since I'm bound to have a million questions throughout this journey.
I have built once with my (then) partner - a house with PD / that ended up amazing. Unfortunately we have split up and had to sell the house.
Anyway I decided I wanted to build a place of my own, so I have put a deposit on a small townhouse.
So far it is very early days- just put a deposit, and still finalising choices for the contract. The selections process is much more simplified than usual, with only a few set choices of colours and limited upgrades. I decided this was perfect for me, I only needed a small place, I love the estate, and I am terrible with selections.
These are the plans for this townhouse:

I have some colour choices etc and a small number if upgrades.. But I guess my first question would be - if I was to get split systems (as evap isn't an option) how many systems am I likely to need? Do I need 1 in every room, or is one per floor likely to be enough since its so small? The ones offered are 5.2/5.8kw systems. If I do need more than 1 per floor - is it easy to have them done later? Eg it's only me living here, so would be a waste having one in the 2nd bedroom now, unless it will be a big problem to do later.
