Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 02, 2013 8:59 am Hi, We are looking to build a home on the canals at the Gold Coast and have a budget of 650k for everything including pool and landscaping. I really like gj gardener s 'blue water' design, which would cost about that amount to finish with quality finishes. I have heard bad things about gj Gardner though, which is off putting. Not many project builders do large 5 bed homes, so I am thinking of looking at a custom builder, but fear that the budget will blow right out. I'm going to look into Brett ward homes, civic steel homes, Palladio homes and ownit homes. Does anyone have any thoughts on these builders, others, or how to best go about this process. We've never built before so it's overwhelming even knowing where to start. Ideally we would like a 45-50sq m home. Thank you! Re: QLD/ Gold Coast builders - advice or reviews please 2Sep 04, 2013 3:33 pm I would recommend contacting Integrity New Homes based out of Kingscliff. They read like a project builder but do mainly custom and have all designers engineers etc in-house rather than out-sourcing. Your budget seems very achievable for that sized home.
