Hubby gets two or 3 options to chose from out of my research, this works for him well, because he'll get overwhelmed and confused with all the choices otherwise. The plans at this stage are to extend a deck on the northern side (where it has 5560 of space to the fenceline) and do a 4m width deck taking it nearly 1.5m off the boundary, pop a nice timber slatted screening parallel with the fenceline and grow some gorgeous screening plants in between. We want a nice light filtering roof between those top windows and the stacker doors too, no use blocking that lovely natural light! Outdoor kitchen sounds lovely! We've always had the plan of running the gas point to the alfresco area, makes that side space so much more versatile. We'd like to try and make it as an indoor/outdoor room extending off the living & dining, so the deck coming straight off will hopefully tie it all in nicely. ohhh sounds lovely, i am sooooo jealous of your deck. we wanted to do a deck to our alfresco and extend it out into the back yard but dont have the $$$ so have to go with boring pavers. We've seen it. Long story short, we prefer the Sierra. Hahaha so (luckily) as they are almost identical, we are able to change our pre-lim contract to suit as nothing has progressed, apply the same upgrades and modifications and not really affect anything. We just didn't like how the Palisade cut off access to the back rooms, made it feel too hemmed in. The Sierra opens it up more. Took us seeing both to realise that we had to go with that "wow" reaction we had with the Sierra initially. The Palisade & Sierra differences were so subtle on paper, but in reality it didn't feel the same for us, so the slightly widened Sierra it is!! If I didn't like double story homes more that would have hands down been my choice. Are you going with the raised ceiling ?? Decorate your home. That raised ceiling was what made us go... Ok! Wow! The Palisade was the same, but just didn't have the same impact as the Sierra in the end. We are also getting the wide stacker doors on the side and going with the 2340mm high ones instead of the 2040mm ones. Really open it up.
