It's certainly there just representing the street at the moment. Re: Simonds Sierra Mt Barker - Frame stage completed! 567Jul 05, 2014 2:00 pm Stackers are in and one of the highlight windows above... There's a tiny bit of finishing off to do, including the nib wall for the island in the kitchen. But it looks to be assembled, just needs finishing. So exciting Re: Simonds Sierra Mt Barker - Frame stage completed! 570Jul 05, 2014 6:37 pm Your construction is setting a benchmark build time. I'm going to refer our SS to your thread when times are slow at our site!! He's an old family friend (recently retired structural engineer) and was happy to give it a going over for us. He said "nothing to worry about, it's all done according to plan and looks good". He'll go back just before lock up, and do another peek for us... But so far, so good. Other than the blatantly obvious stuff... Like if an entire wall was missing. Haha I have family that are well versed in this stuff and they're a great help... Although Sometimes too helpful and Bl00dy annoying! Simonds are renowned for acting quickly with their builds, they don't really waste time with lag between stages, so I think they'll continue that process and you'll notice it when yours starts. I'd seen all these other Simonds builds just fly up and I kept thinking "oh I bet you when it's my turn it'll be the slowest in history" but so far they've been true to form!
