Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 28, 2020 6:28 pm Hi Everyone, I am new here. Currently just started building the “Esperance” with MJH in Newcastle. I have been very happy with MHJ until today. My husband and I went to look at the progress that had been made since our slab had been poured over a week ago. I had been told by the slab supervisor that the frame would be delivered on the 25/6. I was also told by the Construction Coordinator that the site supervisor would be making contact with me once the frame was delivered. However, I received no phone call or email from the SS. I arrived on site today to see that the frame had arrived and work installing it had commenced. Both en-suite and main bathrooms vanity pipes had put in the wrong position and will be covered by the metal frame of the house. We haven’t been contacted by MJH to discuss this as it looks to be an error. They haven’t yet sent a tax invoice for the slab as a progress payment. Is anyone has had a similar issue please comment.
