Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 24, 2013 10:16 pm We are building a new house with Henley - Monaco Nouveau Q1 in Plumpton - Orbis estate. After a long long delay due to Bank taking its own sweet time to approve the loan - to council taking forever to provide building permit - finally we are off. Temp fencing was put in on 17th Jul and they have started digging now. We haven't made any changes to the design of the house except moving WIR door from ensuite to outside - just like in display house in taylors hill. Final building plan: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Progress so far: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Colour Selection: Roof - Colorbond - Monument Bricks - Boral - Glenfern Front windows and front door - Timber stain - Dark Oak Internal wall paint - Hog Bristle Half We have added extra sliding door to master bedroom - and door to ensuite. We really wanted to get grand alfresco and grand living option - but due to 60/40 restriction we are unable to extend even a single inch of the house. Are you saving a lot of $$ on that? becoz the electrical pack which used to be around $6000 has not dropped to $4700 around that which is with LEDs Re: Building new home - Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 in Plumpton 11Aug 05, 2013 1:17 pm Hi kedar, we just chose the basic package with electrical and added heaps of power points and junction boxes. I work for an electrical company and get lights at a better price. We will install after handover. That gives me just 7 days to vacate my current house which was sold in July and settlement is on 8th Nov. I was worried a month ago when I felt like it may not be over in time and we may have to arrange temporary accomodation for a week or two.. but full credits to Henley and especially site admin and site supervisor to get it done in time. Now they have to do flooring which is scheduled for next week and paint touch ups after that.. and that will be it Re: Building new home - Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 in Plumpton 19Oct 18, 2013 12:51 pm wowww congrats rdf77!!! i also cant wait for the house to complete.. comparing your progress with mine, i should have a handover in november!!! do you have any pictures update for the inside? i want to peek inside your monaco! hehe Re: Building new home - Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 in Plumpton 20Oct 18, 2013 12:55 pm mtz08 wowww congrats rdf77!!! i also cant wait for the house to complete.. comparing your progress with mine, i should have a handover in november!!! do you have any pictures update for the inside? i want to peek inside your monaco! hehe We din't get a chance to take any pictures y'day as we wanted to get the inspection done ASAP.
