Browse Forums Building A New House Re: New Living Homes 721Nov 27, 2017 2:51 pm Hi, any idea which one better option if we compare Bamboo flooring vs Laminate flooring? Re: New Living Homes 722Nov 27, 2017 4:56 pm hitarth18 subhra1981 @ak87 doesnt matter u make 2 zone or 6zone, when ever u will turn on the air con the whole machine will be running. When u will make more zones, ur zones will be smaller. Ur room will be cool/hot quick, but there will be no energy save as the whole machine running anyway. And the noise will be more when the zone size is small, as the noise cant split into other rooms. So judgement is urs, but for my opinion making more zone got more demerit points then less zone number. Hi subhra1981, Just wanted to know if these zones comes with individual temperature control outlets ? We have 2 zones with 7 outlets. Thanks Hi, I doubt it will have individual temp controls. Probably your basic one or two zones working with same overall temp. You may be able to pay for an upgrade though. We went to colour selection and were shocked when we saw the actual colour looks nothing like the photo they have on display!! I can’t remember the name but there were 2 timber look colours, 1 was lighter than the other.. has anyone chosen the lighter one? Any photos?? I'm glad you posted this, we've recently chosen the Elara facade and tbh I didn't realise there was a choice of colours. i assume your talking about the wood part or do you mean the posts? i thought the wood part was fake wood that didn't need painting but against our feature timber beam they've got "Tampico Brown Taubmans colour. They appear to have the wrong colour for the portico posts as well so tomorrow I'll contact them to clarify. Now I know and can see it’s cheap wood with timber colour. Re: New Living Homes 726Feb 12, 2018 7:15 am "I am building with Elara facade. I asked them same colour as display home at Aird. I recollect being told it is modwood. if i google modwood it is described as an ecofriendly product made from recycled wood and plastic and comes in various colours. I don't remember selecting a particular colour but assumed it was the same as the Airds display house. Re: New Living Homes 727Feb 12, 2018 11:20 am I was talking about the garage door.they give you 2 colour options for that. Has anyone chosen the laminate option over tiles? Whats the laminate quality like? Re: New Living Homes 729Feb 12, 2018 11:43 am So you’re not going for the wood colour finish to match the wood feature at the top?
