Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 21, 2013 4:28 pm I need some advice please. I am building my first home and the builder has recently gone into liquidation I am stuck between a rock and hard place - I don't know where to go... The liquidators have "disclaimed" the property and the warranty insurers will only get involved to finish the house. Who is responsible for the house in between now and then? I have called all sorts of bodies who can not give me an answer so I am reaching out to anyone who has been through this process to please tell me how they went about it. Thanks and I look forward to your responses....
