I’m building the Masterton Synergy 29 in Denham Court and my build start date is getting nearer with expectation to start on 26/11/2017.
After reading a few comments about builds taking so long, I wanted to get some recent feedback from anyone who has noticed improvements in building times with Masterton. I’m on a bridging loan and worried if the build goes massively over time. Two years, surely is an unreasonable time frame! I expect my home to be completed in the number of days suggested in the contract.
If anyone can share what Masterton is currently doing with building times that would be wonderful.
Thankyou.
Hi Izzysyd
Masterton in our area and our house are terribly slow. It all comes down to your SS and how good or bad they are. Our old SS has to wait for 5 weeks for frames to arrive and the build stopped for that time he even confirmed in writing). And when they did turn up he didn’t have windows ready so had to get carpenter back which delayed. Things again to install. Our new SS seems to be better but we are 12 months in and don’t even have eaves on GF let alone down pipes connected.
You need to push them at every stage I matter what, otherwise they will take their time. The one that screams the loudest normally gets served first.
We’re hoping for a pre Christmas handover but I’m not holding my breath. Our SS has told me he’s booked each and every trade now to get completed by then but he can’t guarantee anything yet.
