Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8422Nov 12, 2015 2:13 pm Does anyway know who you complain to about the builder if you have issues you can't resolve with them? Is it Fair Trading or do I go to a Solicitor? Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8423Nov 12, 2015 2:15 pm ElizabethHills2013 Does anyway know who you complain to about the builder if you have issues you can't resolve with them? Is it Fair Trading or do I go to a Solicitor? Elizabeth, it would be Fair Trading first. They can't enforce any decision, so it is mediation only. If the mediations don't work out, your next step is the Tribunal. These guys can enforce their decisions. You could also take another path and hire a lawyer, however it is a very expensive option. 2014 30/05 $3900 25/08 Contracts 02/10 DA submitted 2015 17/02 DA approved 02/04 Colors 10/04 Demo 09/07 Construction start 27/07 Fill 15/08 Slab 21/09 Frame 2016 08/01 Bricks Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8424Nov 12, 2015 2:16 pm ElizabethHills2013 Does anyway know who you complain to about the builder if you have issues you can't resolve with them? He said we have to talk to the new supervisor starting Monday. JamisonMac- thanks for letting us know It hasn't been easy having time to visit the site. They have to start speeding things up because we are Out of contract 4 days after the Xmas break. This build time is a joke. Something to keep in mind for when we reach that stage. We are still waiting for DA from the council. I've worked out the issue with our approval status changing on the council website. It's approved in the morning and then pending in the afternoon. So the system approves it then someone goes in later and changes it back as the supervisor hasn't signed off yet. Seems like a lot of effort. Just fix the system ! Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8438Nov 12, 2015 5:44 pm That's very interesting MarkP I wonder if that means Glenmore Park, hubby spoke to him today as we are still waiting for our roof to go on and he did not say anything... The bricks and tiles are a bit challenging. We tried the Monier Tiles "ColourTouch" webpage but they didn't have all the colours. does anyone know of any other fun websites where we can play around with colour choices.?
