Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 14236Oct 18, 2017 1:25 pm Thanks Gibson and Sevenths. We have told Masterton that we want the big items completed for handover. Unfortunately this has meant our handover is postponed. But at least we get piece of mind that it will be completed. More a matter of when. Hopefully not too long, as we want landscaping to start befote xmas...fingers crossed. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 14237Oct 18, 2017 10:08 pm Hi All I’m building the Masterton Synergy 29 in Denham Court and my build start date is getting nearer with expectation to start on 26/11/2017. After reading a few comments about builds taking so long, I wanted to get some recent feedback from anyone who has noticed improvements in building times with Masterton. I’m on a bridging loan and worried if the build goes massively over time. Two years, surely is an unreasonable time frame! I expect my home to be completed in the number of days suggested in the contract. If anyone can share what Masterton is currently doing with building times that would be wonderful. Thankyou. We are in our 10th month of the build and the exterior is incomplete. Our contract stated a finish of November 2017 (excluding rain days which when added take us up to December). However this is impossible unless every trade known was working on our house everyday. And this just isn't happening. We've accepted we won't be in until most likely close to easter (that's if I'm being optimistic). Your site supervisor will make all the difference in how everything progresses. We have a new one that's just started. He's our third. I'm hoping he will turn things around and get it back on track. But overall, please be prepared for delays and budget and time things appropriately. Our actual build time has been great. Our slab was laid at the beginning of march. Our contract expires in March next year. And we are a few short weeks from keys. Can't fault the actual build at all. http://preludehome.tumblr.com/ 4 16727 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16001 Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section… 0 20176 |
