Sandra - I'm glad your private inspector is going back to double check. Believe me I can relate to how frustrating it is. We've just had no communication for a month! Shire_Synergy - I think your contract is up a month before ours ? I haven't calculated mine exactly yet. But we also have to add public holidays, 2 at Easter, June long weekend and the October long weekend. No, I didn't have to take mine further. He finally answered his phone on Monday. He told hubby after expressing our concerns 'it's down for completion next month' no idea what that means. I'll be requesting a meeting onsite next week. Update - tilers started today, it's about time these trades actually done what the SS has told me was going to happen. The house is locked back up again with the painted doors all installed, plaster finally fixed. SS did say that the stone tops were going on, that never happened! At least not in the kitchen. Hi S-Ve, Our Villina Lane plan does not say it has timber handrail Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Gibson and VillinaLane - that to me says the wall is 900 ??? Rox82 - forgot to say, yay it's about time. I can't wait to see your luxurious house take shape The original floor plan had 600mm. I'd be doubling checking anyway. The pile of discarded & broken bricks is also very impressive. I live in hope that next week they'll be done. That must be a huge house you have S-VE my bricks were done in a week with the granny flat. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 12394Oct 17, 2016 11:16 am Hang in there guys, it's a test of patience but it will get there. We love our home the longer we've been here and whilst m are still taking their sweet sweet time fixing things...we love it. For us we've had our last entertainment cabinet installed in the great room and our custom couches arrived. I just need to find some rugs and artwork and inside is pretty much done. Outside we are just finalising the design of the fire pit area and next week pending weather we will have some front steps. Hubby wants it all done by little miss' christening in December so he's going to be very busy hehe I hope the weather clears up so your builds remain in order before the Christmas break https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 12395Oct 17, 2016 11:23 am Lol sorry SVE i must apologise Gibson 6 weeks to do bricks. Must be huge house or maybe only 1 bloke doing bricks even then 6 weeks is ridiculous it would wanna be a fantastic job after that long. Lets hope they make up time quickly on the rest. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 12398Oct 17, 2016 3:25 pm Love the colourful print Sandra2016. I love pops of colour. NJC I'd love to see some pics of your brickwork. We have selected that same combination (not yet in Construction). They've only done one row around the base (which I'm impressed with as it rained on and off today ) so once they have a bit more done I'll upload some photos. Just thought the mortar would be whiter! Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 12400Oct 17, 2016 4:00 pm Afternoon peoples!!! Sorry I've been MIA. You know when you've been gone a long time when the website changes its look!!! Congrats to those that have received their keys and moved in to their new homes and to those that may have had additions to their families whether it be of the 2 legged variety or the 4! Hopefully all the current builds are progressing along at a nice pace. We've had bouts of sicknesses run in our family a few weeks ago with the worst flu. Our 2 kids and I went overseas on a holiday to a remote island where my mum has been the last 3 years, leaving hubby home all alone. We came back a week ago to a house that looked much the same as it did before we left except with a few fixes done *thanks M*. Far from being over though as there are heaps for M to do but we haven't been chasing them up much, and you know what, we shouldn't have to but that's building life hey? I haven't read the online goss here for a very long time but I do remember that MGardz got her keys, CONGRATS!!! . Didn't have internet access overseas as I lost my phone but Optus sux for international roaming anyway. Plus my mum is from generation no-technology. So what's new here guys? How's M going? I thought I heard on the radio that they expanded their business and have a new division. Is that right?? 4 16736 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16009 Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section… 0 20182 |
