Our overall quote was a little higher cause we added roller blinds for sliding doors. And flyscreen doors. But shutters definitely cheapest we've got. (And I've got about 5-6 quotes from all over western Sydney)... And their product is covered under mastertons warranty. So it's a win win for us. But yeah should be no reason why ark wouldn't be competitive with them (if they were for us).. __________________________________________ House/Land Package Purchased:02.02.15 5% House Deposit Paid:17.03.15 10% Land Deposit Paid:18.08.15 Land Registered: 04.17 Slab Poured: 15.08.17 PCI: 17.05.18 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11493Jun 22, 2016 9:43 pm Hi guys, we have recently started looking at building the Synergy 29 in Sydney. I've noticed a few people building the Synergy 32, is there anyone building the 29? I have been reading the Masterton thread a lot regarding upgrade prices. Has anyone done square set cornice and timber windows that could let me know the price? We've had eaves done this week and they're doing the brick cleaning this morning. I can't wait to go see the cleaned bricks that have cost us a fortune! I think the cladding is sitting there waiting to be installed. Then next is downpipes, scaffolding removed, lower roof, gutters and facia. I have to say I'm happy with the progress. When we arrive home we will be half way through our contract. What bricks did you opt for? We paid a small fortune for ours too, and hoping it pays off in the end. __________________________________________ House/Land Package Purchased:02.02.15 5% House Deposit Paid:17.03.15 10% Land Deposit Paid:18.08.15 Land Registered: 04.17 Slab Poured: 15.08.17 PCI: 17.05.18 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11496Jun 23, 2016 11:42 am S-VE Hi everyone A quick update before we head away for 2 weeks on our 'escape the winter and house building' family holiday. The troubles and experiences of people here are quite terrible. How can they think it is alright to treat people this way. The New Living Homes builds seem to go so fast yet M builds are so slow and wrong. M have now started a cheaper two storey company name. It would be interesting to hear how that goes? I spoke to him yesterday when we rescheduled PCI. He knows this roof has been attempted to be fixed three times and all the other issues. He just apologises so I do hope that there are things behind the scenes being done to attempt to resolve these issues. Maybe more people should complain to Head Office or Customer Care so it demonstrates how widespread the issues are? https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11500Jun 23, 2016 3:31 pm
So frustrating! Peg out was 3 weeks ago and we are at version 4 of the construction plans and are 3 days over the promise date of them getting them back to us again for checking... Seriously the drafting guy/ department needs to take a hard look at themselves! It can't be that hard to go through point by point our feedback and fix the errors ? And I still have a 40 week build contact to deal with. ARRRHHH!
Oh no Rox82 - that's not good. We sent our first construction plans back Monday with one mistake on them - shower rose in the wrong place and when I rang my pre construction coordinator she said it would only take a few day as it was a small change. My version of a few days is three which means they should have new version back to me today. We hit our 90 days last Friday but all our delays have been because of drafting department so there better be no price rise. ? 4 16742 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16026 Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section… 0 20189 |
