It's annoying MGardz I know it's not his fault that we are this far behind I just don't understand why they are not doing everything now to get them finished. I did see the carpenters were at your place this afternoon MGardz looked like they put your front door handle on... Why are so many other builds over taking us? Maybe they just don't want to work for m? The carpenters were there but beer o'clock must of come around as that job is half done too. They did some handles upstairs but not all of them. We have lots of half done jobs at the moment https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11294Jun 04, 2016 10:16 am They will push for PCI so they don't have to pay liquidated damages. Don't think they are too fussed about finishing the house after that. I was told to wait for all flooring and wet areas finished including doors. Minor things such as small amounts of paint or motar is ok but they need to have the house ready for you within two weeks to make PCI acceptable. It may take I get then that but it should be doable in two weeks. Have a pre-PCI inspection but don't do PCI until you are ready. It will stop your payments of the $50 and if they have been slow so far don't expect them to go any faster when they tont have to pay you any longer. This was advise given to me by ex-customers and an ex- sales rep. We had an 'included upgrade to 3 phase' on our tender, but that's a bit of a misnomer. M do not include connection of your house to the power grid. The 3 phase part is from the power lines to your meter box. M's selected sparky told me they can only 'legally' connect 3 phase if I can prove it is required (ie a 3 phase air con). Ausgrid & two other sparkes have said that is not true and I can get 3 phase connected even if I don't have a 3 phase load in my house. Nervous of the cost. Tiles and carpet today... Tiles I thought I had a pretty generous budget... Apparently not.. 3.5k OVER!! 10.5k in total. (this does include stack tile for front column - 3.5k). But 7k to include feature tiles in all 3 bathrooms. Slightly died. But accepted it regardless... It did however mean our budget needed to be slashed for carpet quite considerably. Weren't overly phased with carpet, so stuck with standard included range, but upgraded underlay to beat possible one.... Back on budget... But freak! __________________________________________ House/Land Package Purchased:02.02.15 5% House Deposit Paid:17.03.15 10% Land Deposit Paid:18.08.15 Land Registered: 04.17 Slab Poured: 15.08.17 PCI: 17.05.18 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11298Jun 04, 2016 2:37 pm Thanks Edmonds and Brettbert. Definitely will take your advice. We had the inspector in this week and he's going to do a full detailed report which we will use to demonstrate that their request for PCI is premature and also help push to get these major things done https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11299Jun 04, 2016 5:55 pm Pretty annoyed now, I have to add leaking roof to the fixes.
