Sandra I feel your pain with preconstruction and whilst construction has not been much fun for us I remember the pain of where you are. I am looking forward to reading the reviews from all on here but most of all leaving my own. My time with M has been much like MGardz as we are building closely we seem to have suffered the same s$&t. After feeling quite happy with our progress in the last week we were hit with the news we had been robbed overnight and our toilets stolen I truely understand this 1 step forward 50 back thing, we are so close to the end and some ar$& decides to steel our property. I emailed my CC to find out what happens now to be told she knows nothing about what happens onsite and we should ask our SS the lack of care and empathy from these people is discusting no care that they have invoiced us for lock up yet the only lock on our front door is a box of tiles placed behind the door, because our door handles and locks were stolen from head office, this company and most of the people that work there are a joke they just don't get it we should be living in our home not stressing about what will be stolen tonight further delaying our move in.... When will this dream which is now a nightmare end... RANT OVER thank you for letting me vent... In good news our tilers were in last week and we love them I will post photos tomorrow around the waterfall benches which someone asked about earlier... Hoping my next post will be a picture of keys(it will be 12 months since starting construction in June) Bahahaha who am I kidding...trying to be positive... Brettbert - He's hot and cold, sometimes he's an arrogant misogynist and sometimes he's ok. He is still the best of the three we've had though. Must of had a bad day today. He's had a run in with my other neighbour who is a neighbour of one of the other m builds on my street after she asked him to get someone out to clean up a mess a M trade made on her property. He basically laughed in her face and said she was a joke... This is one of the many issues I have. I shouldn't have to micro manage or manage anything for that matter, these things should be done by someone competent and at least able to familiarise themselves with the plans or at least keep a file of their builds to refer to when they are on site to check the jobs. The things I point out are clearly obvious to someone that has no building experience. I can't imagine what else is wrong https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11213May 28, 2016 2:32 pm Well the fun never ends guys, even when you are in. Our AC has been pretty patchy with the heating since the get go and we've had penrith air out a couple of times to check it. Finally they've passed the buck to Toshiba who came out today. Turns out AC has no gas, technician thinks it's ** pipework from installation and it's leaked out. Not toshibas problem and its cost us $150 for the visit. So we are without heating and it's not exactly warm up here. Will be some very terse words with AC people come Monday morning. Oh and technician said our unit was too small for the size of the house. Grrrrr! Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11214May 28, 2016 2:56 pm Bleaky send that invoice back to M for payment (with a report from the toshiba man!) ... Hope that doesn't mean digging up stuff to fix pipes? 2013 1st tender 24/10 Dep. 18/11 2014 5% 25/02 CDC approval 5/5 Demo 26/5 Pool 3/7 Valid'n 10/7 Slab 11/8 Frame 19/9 Bricks 23/10 2015 Roof 3/12 Lock up 11/2 PCI 31/3 Final insp. & keys 30/4 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11216May 28, 2016 3:28 pm What size kW was your aircon Bleaky? Boo to stupid trades https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11218May 28, 2016 4:29 pm Bleakly the AC gas pressures are higher in heating and that tgen tends to cause leaks if there are faults with joints or flares. Penrith air should of spotted that pretty quickly. The installer will have to find the source of the leak repair and vac/ re-gas the system. I guess they should really be paying for toshiba as they were responsible. Did you contact toshiba or did penrith air contact them for you. That is very poor customer service. Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11219May 28, 2016 4:50 pm MGardz- 16kw. Boo indeed! Thanks Brettbert. We were told by penrith air to contact Toshiba as they classified our unit as "dead on arrival". We've had errors come up three times in the two and a half weeks we've been using it and last time they were here we were told we weren't using enough zones. I'll agree pretty poor service. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 11220May 28, 2016 6:01 pm Ah yeah bleaky, defiantly not big enough. Ours is 20KW and still wouldn't run the entire house. But we couldn't justify any more $$$ when we would never fun the entire house at once anyway. When we had our air con appointment in Sydney the man broke our entire house up into how many KW it needed. 24.16 is the entire house. So we made it 6 zones so we can easily split it up. The reality is the system will be lucky to last 10 years. So if we find it an issue when it needs replacing we will get a bigger one.
