A question about power connection, we've just received a quote for connecting'Single Phase' power , but the tender includes 3 phase power for the aircon. Does that mean we need to get 3 phase power connected from the street? Also what does M include? they are putting a 'local' power pole on our block, do they cover the connection from that pole to the meter box? Cheers. Had to keep sending them proof that the aircon we selected was 3 phase. I would check with them. We have it as part of the new YES please package. And it's needed for the air con too. 3 phase is used for ducted aircon, induction cooking. I got it and while it was a little bit more to get it will save costs in the long term Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 10740May 02, 2016 10:58 am Yes you need 3 phase from the street. When I got my quote for electrical connection from Ms preferred electrician the quote was for 3 phase metering to the switchboard and connection to the street. This is not included in the M contract price. When the house was being built they just run a conduit from the boundary to the point where the meter is going. The electrician then came and installed the meter and connected it to the street. I think the inclusion from M is for the extra cable running to the aircon and that's all. 4 16753 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16030 Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section… 0 20197 |
