Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 10283Apr 05, 2016 10:20 pm bleaky WKVillina- unfortunately we've signed for PCI. So no more 50 a day. We were told we'd have the key within a week or two. A week later and nothing booked and they can't tell us when we will see anyone on site. They sent the final invoice though. It's a never ending stuff ups and no accountability. Sandra 2016. Sorry about your mothers diagnosis, you definitely don't need build stress on top of it. Similar thing happened to us so I emailed the accounts dept and explained why I would not be paying the final invoice until everything was fixed. They didn't have an issue with it. I think they send out the invoices ASAP and if anyone pays them then it's a bonus. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 10284Apr 05, 2016 10:31 pm Sandra 2016 that's appalling. I have no words for the disgusting correspondence you have had with M. I am very sorry to hear about your mum. I hope bucket loads of good news is just around the corner for you. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 10285Apr 06, 2016 6:14 am Sandra2016 I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. Good advice, we were thinking along the same lines. Should have known 1-2 weeks to keys was not going to happen. SS was leaving so he's not going to care what happens after he's gone. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 10288Apr 06, 2016 11:33 am Wkvillina your house is looking great, Sandra2016 -I hope you see progress very soon. And a speedy recovery to your mum. I rang head office regarding my 90 day list and found out my SS had left he didn't last a year. Not much joy around so I thought I'd share my positive story for today. Our file has had to be returned as plans are not right and another amendment to the tender is needed and we are running out of time to avoid being penalised. Hubby and I have been stressed about this as we have not been responsible for running the time down, but today my sales rep has advised that we have a month's extension to ease the pressure. Still shouldn't be taking this long but at least they've acknowledged this. Feels like a little win for us. ? As we don't get very many Marina looks good! SVE you might need one we had to fill less than a meter but have retaining walls and will need one in the front where we have the drop edge beam. Our driveway will slant about 11 degrees but flatten at the top. An inspector will come out (along with Masterton Rep) and all items will be agreed or disagreed on. Masterton will then have set timeframe to fix agreed items, or face penalty from Fair Trading. But be warned, Don't allow any tradies to deal with you directly regarding delays or appointment times, they have to deal directly with Fair Trading or Fair Trading washes their hands of it as you've made a "private arrangement" we got stung by Kitchen guy who rang and said replacement kitchen panels were delayed due to Xmas, I then had to spend months chasing him myself. Masterton have to respond to Fair Trading, whereas they're happy to ignore their customers. Hi Fingerscrossed, Make sure they put your extension in writing or you just might find they forget it was ever offered.
