That makes it super helpful for us to get an idea!!! How exciting you are almost done then is that correct? Yeah i dont want to jinx it but i assume we have good progress because the person next to us, and two houses behind us are all masterton. So not sure if this speeds the process up at all! Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8965Dec 09, 2015 11:51 am Well my tiling saga continues. My tilers after finally turning up after a month have disappeared leaving the bathrooms half done. The backsplash has been pulled down and I'm hoping reordered. Apparently our balcony needs to be waterproofed before they will come back. Sure that could have been done in the last two weeks but that would take some sort of planning... Seems Dons is just as lame as M. I'm embarrassed I chose this builder. Bring on the day I never have to deal with them ever again. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8966Dec 09, 2015 12:54 pm Oh Katie I wish we were nearly done. They haven't even finished our eaves or lower roof yet! No where near finished https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8967Dec 09, 2015 1:38 pm Hi again very helpful forum members...another novice question. When do m generally throw in freebies? Should these be in our tender? Or is it after we sign? We have our tender ready to be signed but need to check this first.. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8968Dec 09, 2015 1:45 pm Jazz2024 That's good to hear!! We are in the same boat by the sounds of it. My ss is trying his best as well. We won't have appliances in but that's ok as we won't move in yet anyway I just any to set up and get the landscaping done We started construction 10th Dec. things not have not been done is air con grilles, water tank final connection, sanding of floor. the SS told us that cleaning has been booked for next week. the light switches, heater and fan switches installed outside of the bathroom. the drawing shown that it should be inside of the bathroom. the SS said the reason might be if it is install inside of the bathroom, the switches will be to close to the shower screen. does anyone know about that? $3900 deposit Oct 2013 5% April 14 Council submission May 14 DA Aug 14 CC Oct 14 Demo Oct 2014 Dec 2014 Slab 15 Sep 2015, roof tiles finished 16 Feb 16 keys Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8969Dec 09, 2015 1:47 pm Does anyone know when will Masterton holiday for this year? thanks $3900 deposit Oct 2013 5% April 14 Council submission May 14 DA Aug 14 CC Oct 14 Demo Oct 2014 Dec 2014 Slab 15 Sep 2015, roof tiles finished 16 Feb 16 keys Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8970Dec 09, 2015 2:18 pm I think it was Marina12 who posted a while ago that shutdown is from 22nd December 2015 until January 14th 2016. All of our switches are inside the bathrooms Arielbj ..... a shower is never on 4 walls!!! Unless you have very unusual bathroom layouts?? Think Redywnne and you had the same electricians. Plans are king - if they are on the inside on your electrical plans, make them change them. I would find it very annoying NOT having my light switches inside the bathroom! 2013 1st tender 24/10 Dep. 18/11 2014 5% 25/02 CDC approval 5/5 Demo 26/5 Pool 3/7 Valid'n 10/7 Slab 11/8 Frame 19/9 Bricks 23/10 2015 Roof 3/12 Lock up 11/2 PCI 31/3 Final insp. & keys 30/4 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8972Dec 09, 2015 2:51 pm Arielbj Does anyone know when will Masterton holiday for this year? thanks From email signature of M's employee Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Built a Masterton's Symphony Elite @ Oran Park Slab pour 01/03/16 PCI 28/09/16 Keys 7/10/16 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8973Dec 09, 2015 3:49 pm jol0 Hi again very helpful forum members...another novice question. When do m generally throw in freebies? Should these be in our tender? Or is it after we sign? We have our tender ready to be signed but need to check this first.. Definitely before you sign anything. If it's not in your contract then it won't happen. The only thing M will give you after signing is a price increase!! Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8974Dec 09, 2015 4:14 pm I second that Bleaky. To add to my post earlier, I swung past the house today after being told we had trades booked to complete stuff and surprise f***ing surprise. There's nothing done. Then they've booked our own trades for the theatre for end of January. Keys in march 2016 my a**. Wtf was I thinking signing on with these clowns 12 months ago. Seriously, if you're considering Masterton. Don't. Just don't.... https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8975Dec 09, 2015 7:05 pm MGardz- we asked today if any trades had been booked other than our "tilers"with no reply. Our contract runs out at the beginning of March. Can't see that happening at this rate. I've got neighbours who haven't even got their slab yet that will be in before us. Depressing. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8976Dec 09, 2015 7:08 pm that's horrible Bleaky! Now who said the tradies were out west?! https://mandgbuildatmulgoarise.wordpress.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 8977Dec 10, 2015 7:14 am Did anyone else getting M flooring after final invoice and keys. It's so sad reading your posts and your blog. I'm already regretting signing up with M and our house hasn't even started So with the peg out, where the pegs are is that where they will excavate the block ? Our neighbours block was excavated right up to the boundary and 1/2 of the temporary fence is on our block and has knocked over one of the pegs. Not off to a great start with the new neighbours lol.
