Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 17, 2013 11:36 am Does anyone know details about this rebate? I am currently building my new home in SA. According to the "building rules regarding rainwater tanks", I have to install a minimum 1000L water tank and plumb to a toilet before occupied. My question is: 1. Is this rebate open to new home building? 2. what does it means "stand alone" water tank? 3. I have to plumb the water tank into a toilet. Does I still qualify for the rebate? 4. "UP to $200"? How does SA water calculate the rebate money? I have already sent a enquiry to SA water. Before I get any feedback, I want to see whether someone knows that. I will update the SA water reply as soon as I get it. Thanks Re: [SA] Rainwater Tank Rebate $200? 3Jul 17, 2013 12:36 pm Here is some further info http://www.sawater.com.au/sawater/yourh ... rtanks.htm Rainwater Tank Rebate Collect water and up to $200. You can apply for up to $200 for a new stand alone rainwater tank with a capacity of 1000 litres or more which is not connected to household plumbing.
