You go through that 6 month admin stage and are content to just stare at the block of sand every weekend and then get beyond excited when slab goes down and you think this is actually happening we are going to have a house soon!!! Bricks get delivered, excitement is high and then you wait.... It drove me nuts but yes it was 6 weeks and then they seem to start and then disappeared for a couple of days. We have our site meeting with supervisor tomorrow so super excited for that!! Hopefully will have some pics to post over the weekend. Fingers crossed no rain tomorrow Re: Custom Build with Dale Alcock WA - Bricks have arrived 70Aug 31, 2013 12:25 am No brickies so far. But it's pretty understandable given the rain. I'm guessing we're probably a week out still. We decided we want to re do the tiling ... Spoke with our CLO today and she said it's possible - so we're off to tiles expo to see what we can do. The funny thing for us was that the window frames were all delivered in May long before the slab was even laid. It's funny the order things get sorted in and the time between various bits and pieces. I asked to see the build order that our SS has on his ipad but he said they aren't allowed to share with clients since we end up jumping up and down when things aren't done exactly to what he has Demo + Build in Rivervale, Western Australia Moved in June 2014 http://rivervale.tumblr.com/ Building Thread Re: Custom Build with Dale Alcock WA - Bricks have arrived 72Aug 31, 2013 9:19 am Great to watch the progression of a number of houses on these threads It lets you know what's the next step at your own place and gives ideas of timelines Re: Custom Build with Dale Alcock WA - Bricks have arrived 73Sep 01, 2013 3:50 pm Re: Custom Build with Dale Alcock WA - Bricks & new tile cho 74Sep 01, 2013 4:07 pm Wow! Re: Custom Build with Dale Alcock WA - Bricks & new tile cho 75Sep 01, 2013 4:13 pm Tiles Expo - they have some really nice stuff there. We love that feature tile too - its horrendously expensive but we only need a tiny bit - about 1m for the whole house... Re: Custom Build with Dale Alcock WA - Bricks & new tile cho 77Sep 01, 2013 8:10 pm Wow those feature tiles are pretty! Sort of remind me of something they did on the block but in small scale Re: Custom Build with Dale Alcock WA - Bricks & new tile cho 79Sep 03, 2013 11:21 pm variation is in, waiting for costs now.
