Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 11, 2013 11:01 pm Hello! My husband and I have recently signed with Homebuyers to build our first house Currently just getting ideas (which is how I stumbled on this amazing forum), and will be doing that for a little while as titles aren't due to come through until late October. We're building a 'Riva', which is 4 bedroom 2 bathroom, on a 493m2 section in St Leonards Estate. We've already made a few amendments to the original plan, including putting in a bigger corner pantry, and fridge recess for our fridge, which will give us a bit more bench space. We've gone out and checked out options for bricks, tiles and carpet and starting to get an idea of what we want in our heads. We're pretty excited to be getting into our first home so soon, especially a brand new one, since we're recently married, but to be honest its the later titles that are helping us out with giving us time to save the money. And really happy that we managed to get our section, it was the last one available in its release. All very exciting stuff!
