Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 03, 2013 3:02 pm Hi, I am new to the forum and would like some feedback from those who are living/building in Georges Fair or Voyager Point. My husband and I are wishing to build in one of these two locations, and would like to know what the experience has been like so far for those who have or are currently going through this process. 1. What made you decide on Georges Fair/Voyager Point? 2. How has the building process been? 3. How has it been living there? Any feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks Re: Building in Georges Fair or Voyager Point 2Jul 03, 2013 9:34 pm NRBrownie Hi, I am new to the forum and would like some feedback from those who are living/building in Georges Fair or Voyager Point. Main reason we built here was the larger blocks available compared to what was on offer at the time at Georges Fair. We wanted to stay in the area, we lived in Wattle Grove for 16 years before moving and also have a few friends living at Voyager Point so we were familiar with the area. The main reason for building is we could not find a existing home for sale that we liked and we wanted to upgrade to a bigger home. It is pretty quiet here too, we are away from the road and can't really hear much traffic. Very happy with our new home and location A friend built at Georges Fair and she is quite happy there too We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! I like it here. keep in mind, not much land available now, and all future release will be premium land ( aurora ), which is about $50k more. 300sq used to be $260k , but it cost $310k at aurora release. I do hope once GF land sold out, all early stages release land go up $50k Hi, we live in an area where the black soil is prone to a lot of movement.
