Has anyone had a positive experience using removalists in and around the Mandurah area over the past 12 months?
Please share your little secret with me

We are trying a new one. Hopefully everything will get there in one piece. Re: Removalist wanted - caring, careful, considered MANDURAH 3Jul 02, 2013 9:11 pm Haha yeah I wasn't talking of one of them, I met those fellows. I look at my brand new big screen TV with the massive scratches every day. Don't even know what's happened to my marri furniture yet because they've been in storage for a year but I will have the tissues handy for when those covers finally come off for the reveal Re: Removalist wanted - caring, careful, considered MANDURAH 4Jul 03, 2013 6:35 pm Yes I have the best removalist, extremely careful, fast and cheap - my hubby! We have moved 5 times in the last 3 years - I pack it, he moves it and by himself for the most part. Re: Removalist wanted - caring, careful, considered MANDURAH 5Jul 03, 2013 6:39 pm I've had nothing but crap removalists....its a pain at the time but so much better hiring a truck and doing it yourself. free dinner drinks etc to some mates with muscle! Thanks kat. It's not that easy when you're getting a little older haha. We have very heavy furniture and I think my hubby wouldn't survive such heavy loads these days. Ps, most of friends and family life a little to far away to ask such favour, and their backs are probably shot too haha Re: Removalist wanted - caring, careful, considered MANDURAH 8Jul 03, 2013 7:50 pm We are oldies too, his back kills him after but he won't pay for someone else to do it - tightwad Re: Removalist wanted - caring, careful, considered MANDURAH 9Jul 03, 2013 7:58 pm Oh fair enough haha. I'm tight as too but I have the additional misfortune of 2 bung knees since Feb and I will be able to help very little if at all. So I will have to lash out cause I don't want more medical bills if DH hurts himself too. Figured that might have the potential to cost more than a removalist . Have made a decision and gone with a well established local mob. Will post as to what our experience was like. Praying already. Prevents those annoying scratches and dents..big dents not so much /quote] We did that last time kat, I cant figure out how they managed the damage Re: Removalist wanted - caring, careful, considered MANDURAH 12Jul 03, 2013 9:16 pm We had Allied Pickford's move us back from Tasmania and all we had was one broken glass. They did a fantastic job, but that's for bigger moves though |
